Class Experience
Would you like to go to space? Have you ever heard of Mary Anning, brave fossil hunter? Do you know how Florence Nightingale changed the world? All of these questions, and lots more, will be explored in this new ongoing series of 'History Detectives!' classes. The class will give learners the opportunity to further develop their English reading skills. There may also be some writing. This is not a class for beginning readers. I have a PGCE and a Masters in History from the University of Oxford. I have over a decade of teaching experience.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
As this is a history class, parents should be aware that some weeks will include brief discussion of death or tragedy. These are handled in a sensitive and age-appropriate way.
I have created this material. I am an experienced and highly qualified history teacher (I have a PGCE and Masters in history from the University of Oxford).
