In this three-class course, we will examine the lives of Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, and Kim II-Sung

Class experience

US Grade 7 - 10
I have an undergraduate degree in History and a Bachelor of Education with special qualifications in History. I have specifically taken courses regarding dictators and totalitarian leadership to help better understand the roles of dictators in countries. I am willing to answer any questions prior to the course about what students can expect if they are concerned about the sensitivity of the topic.
These dictators are each responsible for crimes resulting in human suffering and death. These topics will not extensively be examined as the focus is on the dictators but there will be mention of these events. When discussing these events in class, I will be using factual based information such as statistics and primary documents to help the students understand the experiences of those who lived during these times. If you have specific questions, please do not hesitate to reach out and ask.
