Description
Class Experience
Student will explore the various styles of using a sword and expand their knowledge in history and physical body mechanics.
For homework, I will be giving solo drills for students to work on in their own time. Students will be expected to practice on their own and proficient and ready for the next lesson.
A sword like object is recommended for the class. Something that could be held in two hands, a broom handle or a dowel. And something that can be used one handed. There will be advance classes in the course. Students will have a hard time keeping up if the principles in class is not practiced.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
This is an active class where students will need space. Please be aware of the students surrounds and that there is nothing fragile around them. Being outside or in a garage are good options for students.
