Class Experience

Have you ever wondered what your heart tissue looks like under a microscope?
You will get your chance in this class to look at tissues microscopically.
The terms Histology and Histopathology will be defined.
The following slides will be examined:
Slides of Cardiac Tissue, Bone Tissue, Blood Tissue, Hepatic(Liver) Tissue, and Adipose(Fat) Tissue will be shown.
There will be instruction on the differentiation of tissue types. A discussion will be lead on how to distinguish between these...

Colored pencils and white paper will be needed for the class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
