This course will introduce students to the Spanish speaking countries while they develop skills in all four languages domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will learn to listen, develop their attention span, practice oral communication, and learn new vocabulary Spanish.
Students may continue working on activities that were not completed during class.
Each week materials will be available on the Outschool classroom page and access to a printer is highly recommended. Some of the activities are easy to recreate on paper and some can be accessed electronically. For every class students will need: pencils/pens composition or spiral notebook colored pencils/markers. Optional: electronic device (cell phone, laptop, tablet, iPad, chromebook, etc) to use on the days to play **Kahoot. Parental assistance may be needed for the craft activities and to help learners enter the game pin for Kahoot. **Students will log on to Kahoot.it. on a separate device other than what they are using to sign on to Outschool. To start the game students will receive a pin to enter on their device and a nickname. Students will answer questions relating to the information, vocabulary, and content learned.
There will not be any grades for this class, however informal feedback will take place throughout the week, and provided to families.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
