This one-time beginners hip hop dance class will introduce basic movements of hip hop while incorporating musical theater/Broadway style. At the end of class we will do an activity!
Class experience
During this class we will start off class with a warm-up, cardio exercises and stretch our bodies for about the first 10-15 minutes. We will then learn a few hip-hop moves during our warm-up time. Choreography will be taught after the warm-up and will be to an upbeat song. At the end of our routine we will have some time for freestyle dancing! (Approximately 35 -40 minutes.) Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

Bring crayons or other items you want to use to decorate your money! You will need scissors to cut out the money as well.
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.) *All music used in class will be the clean version of the songs from the musical.
