Class Experience

During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies including cardio and learn some hip hop moves for about 5 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat song from Encanto! 

Day 1: Encanto #1 - We will warm-up and stretch. We will then learn a fun routine to the "Luisa" song! 

Day 2: Encanto #2 - We will warm-up and stretch. We will then learn a fun routine to the "Bruno" song!

This class is taught in English.

Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of the class!

I have been teaching for 21 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

No homework is assigned but practice is encouraged!

No supplies necessary.

Encouragement and feedback will be given throughout the class.

1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
