This beginner dance class will introduce basic movements of hip hop. We will warm-up, stretch and learn a fun, upbeat, new routine every class. We will also do an activity in each class that might include a craft, playing a game or having a snack. Feel free to dress up!
Class experience
During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies including cardio and learn some hip hop moves. (For about 5-7 minutes.) We will then learn choreography to an upbeat song from Descendants or Zombies. (25 -30 minutes) During class we will have a couple breaks and at the end of class we will do our activity on most days. Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. The songs are upbeat and fun. The goal of this ongoing class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of every class!
I have been teaching for 22 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. Scissors will be needed for some crafts. (Dance at your own risk.)
