This beginner hip hop dance class will introduce basic movements of hip hop. We will warm-up, stretch and learn a fun, upbeat routine. We will dance with an apple (real or pretend) during class and play Bingo at the end of class! Feel free to dress up!
Class experience
During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies including cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 7-10 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat song from Descendants. (25 -30 minutes) During class we will have a couple breaks and at the end of class we will play Descendants Bingo! Check out the supply list on what to bring to class! *The duration of the warm-up and choreography time may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary...
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
