This beginner hip hop dance class will introduce basic movements of hip hop. We will warm-up, stretch and learn a fun routine. During class we will also take a couple breaks and have a snack time and coloring at the end of class!
Class experience
During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies including do cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 15 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine. (25 -30 minutes) During class we will have a couple breaks and at the end of class we will color while enjoying a snack for about 5-7 minutes! *The duration of the warm-up and choreography time may vary do to student participation. Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!
