Time to move and groove with Miss Marissa! Hip hop fitness is all about keeping moving your body to the beat with fun dance combinations all while keeping your heart rate up and breaking a sweat. This is an EXCELLENT physical education alternative. Miss Marissa will not only teach choreography, but also teach you about how to move and listen to your body, warm ups and cool downs, and even stretching techniques. Hip hop fitness is all about keeping our body moving while dancing to the beats of the hottest, clean hip hop music. Students will follow along with Miss Marissa as she dances and jams while targeting different muscle groups. Students do not need any prior dance experience to participate in this class.

Parental Guidance
All music will be clean versions, but parental guidance is welcomed if there is any comfortability issues with hip hop music.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Miss Marissa has been a dancer for over 13 years, dancing in the styles of hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and pom squad. Miss Marissa has been teaching dance for over 10 years and loves helping students gain confidence and self-esteem through dance.
