Hip Flexor Workout: Strengthen Your Kicks and Leaps!

In this one-time class, students will be taught exercises specifically targeting hip flexor muscles to add more height and power to their kicks, leaps, and other skills requiring these muscle groups.

Class Experience

This will not only be a good, challenging workout for students, but they will also learn drills to add to their own practices and warm ups and understand their benefits.
I have about 14 years of experience training and coaching acrobatic sports, as well as education in Kinesiology and athletic training.
A chair or stool will be needed for some standing exercises. More experienced kickers will need higher chairs, beginners will do well with shorter chairs. A soft floor or padding will also make stretches more comfortable.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please ensure all learners have:
-adequate spacing for exercises
-plenty of water
-parental supervision
