4 live meetings
3 in-class hoursHomework
1 hour per week. To help kids stay on track with learning outside of the classroom, I will provide a short ~15min homework for kids that can be submitted in written or audio form. Doing so is optional, but recommended.Class Experience
I was born and brought up in India with Hindi as my 1st language. Ever since a kid, I have always been excited to explore and learn a new language. This was strictly to express myself better and to understand and connect deeper with the other person. These factors have become such a need for human survival. What made it more fun was how little I knew and so much I could learn in just a short time. In each of my 45min session spanned over next 4 weeks, I plan to cover the above through the lens of an average 8 year old and how they can converse better with their Dada-Dadis, Nana-Nanis, and stay rooted in Indian culture. We would keep it very conversational at all times, to ensure maximum retention of the learning. I would engage with my class on a LIVE video conference. I like to divide the time to introductions, identifying and discussing class objectives, learning games, music, pictures. Colors at disposal will further brighten up the process. Lastly, I would want to spend 5-7min to assess the learnings from the class with a rapid fire round for the kids.
Learning Goals
Surely kids will be able to converse in basic Hindi language.
Also, I would introduce them to the origins, culture and interlinkage with other world languages so they can appreciate the richness of Hindi. This broadens thinking and nurtures creativity

I was born and brought up in India with Hindi as my mother tongue. I blend the learnings of my class with my deep understanding of the culture and lifestyle of the Indians. Though I had been a city girl in India, but my travels through the villages, love for food, and the many festive adventures have further rooted my knowledge and behaviour of the people.
My approach to teaching ensures the 45min class is no books. A fun engaging way to ensure maximum retention and application outside the classroom.
