Class Experience

Namaste! Dhanyavaad phir aane ke liye! Thanks for coming back!

In Part 4, we will focus more on Grammar to practice sentences and make conversations. I will also be doing picture comprehension to help the learners frame sentences. This class will require some practice outside of class, so please make sure you enroll knowing that there will be mandatory homework for some classes. At the end of Part 4, you should have a solid foundation to decode the language if someone speaks to you in Hindi. You should also be able to talk most things about yourself and try to explain a few things happening around you as well. A fun activity on the last day of class is to learn how to write your full names in Hindi :) All kids will love that!!!
The 10 week schedule should look like this (Changes can be made at anytime):

Week 1: Briefly review Part 1, 2 and 3. Come prepared with vowel (Swar) homework sent out before class begins. Practice words sent out before class begins in order to do Poem comprehension.
Week 2: Sangya Shabd - Noun
Week 3: Visheshan - Adjective

Hello everybody, my name is Ms. Kosha, a proud teacher, wife and a mother to my 7 year old daughter and a 6 year old son. I was born and brought up in India, with English and Hindi being my strongest languages growing up. Hindi was taught in my school, college (university), and used as the main language to speak in, throughout the time living in India. Despite coming to the United States 15 years ago, I have never let go off my culture, and passionately teach kids of various age groups on a daily basis. As a teacher, I am fun loving, welcoming, as well as positive in my teachings. I believe, encouraging a child when they do something right is the best way to teach. As a mom of young kids, I know that patience is virtue and show that in my teachings. I assure you, my classes will be fun as well as strongly focused on the subject.
