Class Experience

Week 1 : Revision of all 2 , 3 and 4 letter words without matras . Ensuring that students recognise all the alphabets in the aksharmala. 
Week 2 : Introduction of matras of aa (आ) and simple words with aa matra like बाजार. Quick check on conversational Hindi where students are able to introduce themselves and talk about their likings in Hindi 
Week 3 : Introduction of matras of i and ee (इ and ईं) and simple words with matras like बिजली. Practising conversations used for shopping 
Week 4 : Introduction of matras of u and oo ( उ and ऊ  ) and simple words like उल्लू and साबुन    . Conversation practice for travels. 
Week 5 : Introduction of matras for a and ae ( ए and ऐ ) and simple words like अनेक and सैनिक    . Conversation practice for hobby discussions 
Week 6 : Introduction of matras for ow and au ( ओ and औ) and simple words like औरत and ओखली  . Grammar practice of identifying objects in simple Hindi sentences example यह आम है.
Week 7 : Introduction of matras of ang and ri ( अं and ऋ ) and simple words like कंगन and कृष  . Practice making simple sentences in Hindi and short comprehension passages. 
Week 8 : Revision of matras words and picture talk. 
Week 9 : Revision of matras words and reading and comprehension of short passages 
Week 10 : Students practice expressing themselves in free speech , short sentence writing etc and play games to communicate in Hindi and use the words they have learnt. 

The teachers focus that while students are learning how to write and read Hindi , they also get a lot of conversational practice in every class. Worksheets will be given for additional support and practice.
