4 lessons//4 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1Credit CardsStudents will learn what a credit card is and how to use one responsibly. We will also touch on credit scores, interest, fees, and dos and don'ts.Week 2Lesson 2BudgetingStudents will learn about the 50/30/20 budgeting method.Week 3Lesson 3InvestingStudents will be given a basic introduction to the stock market and investing. Topics covered will include risk vs reward, the stock market, and viewing some real stocks.Week 4Lesson 4Bank AccountsTopics included will be savings vs checking accounts, high yield savings, interest, credit union vs bank, and more.
Students will improve their understanding of basic personal finance knowledge.

Homework Offered
Students will be required to: 1) Watch a 15-25 minute video each week 2) Comment on a discussion post once a week (5-10 minutes) 3) Complete a Kahoot! quiz each week (5-10 minutes)0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will take an open note quiz at the end of the course if they would like. A quiz grade will be provided, but other aspects of the course (discussions, etc.) are not graded.Grades Offered
