At the first meeting, we will discuss what your learning goals are and how I can help you reach them. Goals can include:

As a civil engineering designer, I use trigonometry and algebra every day. I saw how math was applied in real life, and I am super excited to show students how these math concepts can apply to their lives as well. For the last 15 years, I have taught kids from Kindergarten to 12th grade in homeschool groups, on Outschool, Varsity Tutors, and Tutor Me Education. I like engineering, and I love teaching. I bring a passion for both into the classroom, and I am so thankful you've decided to go on this learning journey with me.

Homework Offered
Practice is essential for everything we learn. We can use our tutoring time for practice, but I encourage you to include a little math practice at least two times per week. This helps sharpen skills and deepen knowledge. I can provide practice assignments in Khan Academy to do outside of our time to reinforce what we cover.
