Class Experience
Highly certified English teacher with an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. I have taught students in grades 7-12 and college freshman (essay, research and composition courses). For my Doctorate, I went in depth through the steps of the research process. I rely on research paper-writing experience from what I have learned all the way from being a high school senior writing my senior paper, up to the level of research required for a doctorate. I want students to develop the knowledge to go into depth about topics they're passionate about.
Students have the opportunity to submit their own 7-9 page research paper after session 6.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students' research papers will be assessed informally after the final session with teacher feedback and next steps provided.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
