In this high school Spanish 2 semester long flex course high school students will have the ability to work on their own time each week while being guided through the second semester of high school Spanish 2 (no live sessions).
Class experience
Hola and welcome to this 2nd semester of Spanish 2 flex course! This course is intended for students that already have some Spanish language learning experience. Students ideally should have completed high school Spanish 1 and some of Spanish 2 but not the full year. This course has NO live classes, all videos used in this class are pre recorded, however there will be student interaction through discussion boards, feedback and "office hours" (all explained below). A little about me: I have my Masters degree in Spanish Education k-12, I have taught at all levels from preschool to college. My most recent experience being a college professor of Beginning Spanish levels 1 and 2. I also have studied abroad in Central America, have a bachelors degree in Spanish as well as Anthropology and I hold a Masters certificate in Latin American Studies and a linguistics based certificate in ESL.

In this course I will utilize Loom as my video recording software (no student account required to view videos), I will use and share a Google slides presentation each week (no student account required), I will suggest Quizlet as a great outlet for students to create flashcards (for this students will need to create a free account if they choose to utilize it) and YouTube videos will be embedded into the Google Slides as extra resources for both language learning and culture (no student YouTube account required to view videos).
