Hola! Welcome to my High School Spanish 2 (second semester) Spanish course. This course will be great for high school students that have already taken high school Spanish 2 first semester or an advanced level 1 Spanish. The course will be structured around a teacher led slide lecture, however we will take many opportunities to break from the lecture to interact in Spanish, play games, listen to native Spanish speakers, and watch videos. A little about me: I have my Masters degree in Spanish Education k-12, I have taught at all levels from preschool to college. My most recent experience being a college professor of Beginning Spanish levels 1 and 2. I also have studied abroad in Central America, have a bachelors degree in Spanish as well as Anthropology and I hold a Masters certificate in Latin American Studies and a linguistics based certificate in ESL.
Homework Offered
Students will receive instructions each week as to what their homework is for the week. Homework is used to keep the student practicing Spanish outside of class, however it should not require more than 1.5 hours of total time to complete per week.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
