I have taught professionally for five years in public schools but have worked for more than ten years in tutoring, mentoring, and educating students. I currently run many mini-versions and full live versions of these classes in Outschool as well and have reviews for all of them! Research is a skill that is covered at all levels in brick and mortar schools and is therefore something I have experience with quite a bit. This is the second course in a series which covers additional research skills and which highlights many of the skills colleges desire in their students. Students may need to complete work outside of class if they are unable to finish it during class time.
Students will turn in a fully formatted MLA research paper. The teacher will provide feedback at every step and at every level. Student's needs will be met on an individual basis and students will be challenged no matter where they are in the process and no matter where their struggles.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
