Everyday practice

Every student should have the opportunity to learn. The sky is the limit to a child’s dreams when they have an education. For some students learning is fun, for others it can be very difficult. Trust me, I know. I have dyslexia and my school years were laced with many days of frustrations and tears. When I finally understood how I learned, I went from a special education student to a special education teacher. Currently pursuing my doctorate degree and graduating with my bachelor and master degree whit 4.0GPA, I have discovered some creative ways for students with learning challenges. In this class, you will learn to unlock the key to your brain’s learning potential by using skills like mnemonic techniques, music, colors, and your imagination.

Master's Degree in Education from Cumberland University
Being a student with severe dyslexia and a learning disability, I was told I might never graduate high school. Twenty years later, currently pursuing my doctorate degree and maintaining a 4.0 GPA, I have personally created a plan to help students, like me, who struggle in school with learning challenges, dyslexia and other learning disabilities.
