Class Experience
Taught by a certified music teacher, this class will allow students to study a range of skills relating to music history, theory, and appreciation. Topics will include: Unit 1: Introduction to Music Theory Week 1: Sound, Pitch, Dynamics Week 2: Voices and Instruments Week 3: Rythm and Music Notation Week 4: Melody, Harmony, Key Week 5: Musical Texture Week 6: Musical Form Week 7: Musical Performance and Style Week 8: Final Project Students will meet for a live lesson once a week with the...

Certified K-12 Music Teacher Masters's Degree in Music Technology
After each class, students will be given optional homework assignments/projects to work on outside of class. Students will then be able to turn in their assignments to receive a final grade.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will complete a final research project at the end of class.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
