Class B will cover the popular high school reading books: The Great Gatsby, The Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, and Fahrenheit 451. Students will be responsible for reading outside of class. We will discuss the assigned chapters as a class, and go over any assigned written work. As a certified teacher, we sometimes have to discuss tough and dark issues . This topic will be discussed with the respect and dignity. I encourage each parent to research each book to make sure it is a fit for your child and family. All sensitive topics will be discussed with respect. This rule is not negotiable. Respectful discussion is mandatory.
Your child will need: A copy of each book, Access to download, print and upload, A spiral notebook would be helpful to organize all notes and writing.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
