Students will either be introduced (if not in geometry yet) or review high school geometry lessons to better their knowledge. Please be advised that in order to succeed in this course students have to have basic knowledge on area, perimeter and angles. I will start class by introducing the topic of the day, students will take notes and work on guided examples. Students then are expected to work on some problems of the lesson with my guidance and after a few examples students will be asked to work on some independent practice problems. This allows me to clarify any misunderstanding of the lesson. Any examples that are not completed during class might be asked to be finished as homework. Students can scan or send an image of their homework to be graded by me. Day 1: Geometry Tools Day 2: Distance Between Points on a Graph Day 3: Distance Formula Day 4: Line Segments Day 5: Midpoint Formula Day 6: Slope Day 7: Parallel and Perpendicular Lines Day 8: Equations of Parallel and Perpendicular Lines Day 9: Exterior Angle, Finding Angle Measure and Solving Equations

Students will be introduced or improve their understanding of High School Geometry.

Supply List
Notebook, pencils, if possible several highlighters different colors, and the uploaded assignments students will have access to at the beginning of the week a Sunday before the start of every new week. A calculator is strongly recommended.
