US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner Level
This course is one of two Forensic Semester Courses and covers more in-depth topics than the first-semester course. Prior completion of the first course is NOT a requirement for enrollment in this course. Students will be assigned reading materials, videos, and worksheets, and required to give a final presentation to their peers. Upon completing all assignments, students will receive a printable certificate of completion. I prefer students have their video cameras turned on during class, except when we are watching a video. Students will learn about a specific aspect of forensics through online videos, worksheets, and coloring pages. I will also conduct oral reviews of the material if time permits.
Learning Goals
My goal is to equip students to know what it takes to be in the forensic field. Also, if they choose this career to pinpoint where their interest lies.
