I have taught professionally for five years in public schools but have worked for more than ten years in tutoring, mentoring, and educating students. I currently run many mini-versions and full live versions of these classes in Outschool as well and have reviews for all of them!
Students may be asked to finish work outside of class or to read something or write something before hand to be prepared for class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students each week will be assessed on their skills and given the opportunity to continue learning beyond the skill focus of the day/week.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
If students struggle with certain topics, we will spend additional time on them. All of the resources will be provided and if we are unable to do something due to student needs, that class will be offered for students at an additional time to help! It is important to recognize that student mastery is a focus and we will spend additional time on those skills before moving on if need be. This means that the schedule may be somewhat fluid and flexible. If you have questions, please let me know!
