High School English: Condensed Course
Class experience
US Grade 9 - 12
In this 6-week boot camp, students will cover the main Common Core standards for Reading Literature, Reading Informational, Language, Writing, and Speaking & Listening. At the end of the course, students will have a portfolio full of their work samples. The final portfolio will be in a Google folder that both the student and instructor will have access to. Students will cover the main Common Core standards for high school English.
I have taught middle (6th-8th) and high school (9th-12th) English Language Arts for 10 years. I am certified to teach English (6-12) and ESOL (PK-12) in Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia. I am also certified by the National Virtual Teacher Association. I have a B.A. in English and Secondary Education, a minor in Theatre Arts, and a certificate and endorsement in ESOL. I also have an M.Ed. in Media (Instructional Technology concentration).

Students may need to work on unfinished classwork outside of class.Assessments Offered
