This course is a safe space for students to build a community centered around their love and passion for theater. While I will always have topics of discussion at hand and material to work on, I will encourage the students to direct the club where they want to go. We can sing songs together or write our own play to rehearse and perform via ZOOM. We can read scenes and work on acting for the camera. We'll build an ensemble together. This is a great place to learn about shows we may not already know and to make new friends we haven't already met! Or, maybe we just need to talk and to listen. "Even when the dark comes crashing through When you need a friend to carry you... You will be found" (Can you name the musical this is from?)
