Description

Class Experience

By the end of the course, learners will have gained confidence with handling the violin and will be ready to take it in their preferred direction, whether that be classical, rock/pop, jazz, or fiddle.
Although I began violin at a young age (6), I enjoy teaching older beginners because they can make quick progress and gain a more critical understanding of the instrument. I myself went through a process of discovering other styles later in my musical development, which gave me fresh perspectives and more versatility on the instrument. It helps to have an idea of what motivates you to learn the violin, and if you are not sure, learning with others may help!
Learners will be offered optional (but highly recommended) practice points to work on between lessons.
Violin ready to play, practice journal (optional). Class pointers and notes will be posted.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
