Description

Class Experience

Everyone should learn basic graphic design. Learners will also learn more about conceptual thinking, and illustration.
I have worked as a professional art Director in advertising agencies accross the globe, and as a contract graphic designer for over 10 years. I went to school for graphic design, advertising and illustration, and I graduated with a bachelor of graphic design.
Learners should be doing at least one hour of homework every week. learners who are taking this class to expand their portfolio should be dedicating more time to homework.
Pencils Erasers Sketchbook Drawing pens (black felt tipped pens), Ruler Colored pencil or markers. Watercolor, paint, and supplies optional.
I do not like to grade artwork, because I do feel that it is largely objective, but If requested, I will provide a grade out of four and written feedback.

When learners send me their artwork, I will do my best to reply with prompt feedback. If learners do not send me their artwork, I will be unable to give them a grade or feedback.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
