I will teach students about the fascinating creature called the Shoebill Stork in this class. This bird is often ranked one of the most scary-looking creatures in the animal kingdom! Is this bird something for humans to worry about it? What does it eat? Where does it live? Why have most people never seen it? I will be using a video retrieved from YouTube entitled "Sushi the Shoebill Stork" to teach students about conservation and not judging an animal's temperament by its appearance. You do not have to have a subscription to view this video. I will be screen-sharing this. I will also be using pictures from PowerPoint that I will use to show students some pictures of the Shoebill Stork. I will be screen-sharing this.
I will refer to an article published in the Science Times called "Shoebill Bird Stays Silent When Hunting But Can Make Loud Terrifying Machine Gun Sound." I will also refer to an article published by UgandaSafariExperts called "Fun Facts That You Didn't Know About the Shoebill Stork."
