In this class, students will practice painting using acrylic paint, a paint brush, and rocks! Whether you are an experience painter or a beginner, this class is for you! The goal of this class is to learn how to paint different designs and have fun spreading joy by hiding these colorful rocks for others to find! We will practice good painting techniques as we paint a special design on a rock each week. I will guide each student step-by-step through the painting as I paint along too! The purpose of this class is to be creating something that brings joy to others. After each class, students will be encouraged to hide their rocks somewhere public for others to find. In this 8-week course, we will focus on the following topics: Week of May 13: Strawberry Week of May 20: Sunrise Week of May 27: Ice Cream Cone Week of June 3: Watermelon Week of June 10: Beach Scene Week of June 17: Apple Tree Week of June 24: Flip Flops Week of July 1: Student’s choice Students will be able to bring their own creativity to the class. They will be able to ask questions freely and understand that you don't have to be a great painter to have fun in this class! The purpose of the class is to bring joy and positivity to many.

Students will need to bring a rock to each class, acrylic waterproof paint, 2 paint brushes, and a cup filled with water. Rock painting kits are also an option.
