Join us as we travel the national parks of the US via videos clips, gorgeous photos, maps, a photo match up of scats and animals, first hand knowledge, and fun facts from the National Parks Service. While we’re there, we will hunt for scat and connect the scat to the animals they belong to! Some weeks we will play the game Poop Tracks! We are going to have SO MUCH FUN learning about the national parks, the animals that live there, and their scats and tracks. This class is designed to be fully interactive and students are expected to be fully engaged. If interacting with teacher and peers is uncomfortable for your student, this class is not a good fit for them. Each week we will thoroughly explore one park. No prior knowledge of the parks is necessary. It is not necessary to attend each and every week, although I highly recommend it! 6/13 - Death Valley National Park 6/20 - 6/27 - And etc! Students in this class get to choose the national parks we will explore next! Everyone gets a vote!

Students are welcome to draw, color, or even snack. I was once a squiggly student myself, and I know from personal experience that having something for the hands to do helps students focus even better. Regardless, squiggly students are welcome here!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
