What will be taught? They will learn to make Herograms, which will keep them interested in improving their basic coding and number sense. What topics will you cover? Basic shapes. Translation. Rotation. Scaling. Cartesian coordinates. Fractions. Negative numbers. Color theory. Grouping. Privacy. How is your class structured? We will cover new topics in the first 30 minutes, and children will use the rest of the class to perfect their creation. How will you...
Children will practice the skills learned in Start Creating with Code and deepen their knowledge of coding in Elm and facility with math concepts.
Between sessions, we ask that learners talk to friends and family about their heroes, and unsung heroes in their community.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
You will know your child is learning by what they create. We will let you know which new coding challenges they are ready for.
