In this class, students will learn what they need to have to properly take care of their hermit crabs. The students will see pictures of hermit crab habitats and the actual products that I use. They may see some short video clips of my hermit crabs depending on the time. We will discuss what needs to be in the hermit crab habitat including shells, water, sand, and fun things for them. We will also discuss the humidity and temperature of the hermit crab habitat. The students will be able to show their hermit crabs if they have them. I will bring my portable hermit crab habitat to show the students a small example of what their habitats should look like. One of my hermit crabs will come to class if they are not molting.
