This is a two week course , designed to follow my Introduction to Beginner Piano Class, in order to begin to add some more left hand parts to our songs , and to learn a few new songs.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to keep a steady beat, while playing a melody. The students will be able to play in home position and additional positions on the piano. Students will get a feel for their own self expression and unique musical personality. Students will learn a bit about musical form and how songs are structured. The students will be able to play with musically and expression. Students will begin to get a feel for different musical styles and how to play them.
I have 20+ years experience, as a music teacher. I have taught piano, electric keyboard, guitar, and general music classes, in both the classroom and private settings. I was head of the music department at a private high school in Maryland. I taught private piano and guitar lessons at a guitar shop, for 5 years, in addition to my own private students in my studio.
I will post song sheets and videos into the outschool classroom, each week, for the students to use for their practicing.
Piano or Electric keyboard.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Informal assessment. I will provide feedback to each student, as we progress through the material.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
I will provide all necessary materials for study.
