Description
Class Experience
In this course, students will learn all about the basics of fishing! I grew up fishing at my grandfathers lake and it was something I cherished and held close to me when I was older. We will talk about the difference between fresh water and salt water fishing as well as deep sea fishing, ice fishing, fly fishing, etc. We will go through a tackle box as well as the equipment on a fishing pole. Students will learn the different parts of a fishing pole as well as the different parts of a hook....
Students will learn about tackle boxes, bait, fishing poles, fresh water, salt water, and deep sea fishing. Students will learn about water and hook safety. Students will understand the equipment needed for fishing as well as some tricks and techniques.
There will be no homework for this course but just encouragement to go fishing!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
