Meet Professor Sprout in Greenhouse one for herbology class. Study plant anatomy in the parts of a puffapod lesson. Tend to some of Madam Pomfrey's plants for healing potions. Learn about the fanged geranium and other carnivorous plants. Watch out for the venomous tentacula and other poisonous plants. Head to the school grounds to study the whomping willow and other trees. Visit the black lake to learn about gillyweed and other aquatic plants. Repot mandrakes and clear up the devil's snare to learn about roots and vines. We will conclude our term with a visit of the forbidden forest to learn about endangered species. Class ten consists of student presentations. Each class will include a welcome discussion, lecture, and class activity. Herbology 1- Separate class listing (Required) Introduction to Herbology with Professor Sprout. My name is Courtney! I have a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Education from Kent State University. I am also TESOL certified. I have been teaching since 2008. I started teaching exclusively online in the Fall of 2016. I teach science, ESL, Health, and math classes. Many of my classes have a fun theme! I believe students should be comfortable, engaged, and interested while learning.
In my free time, I like to learn, create, and enjoy nature. Some of my hobbies include Oculus Quest, hiking, kayaking, dancing, camping, painting, calligraphy, and music.
