US Grade 2 - 4
In this class, students will embark on a thrilling adventure to help a group of friendly aliens find their way back home. Throughout the class, students will be engaged in a variety of fun and challenging activities designed to enhance their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. They will have to decode the alien language, solve mazes, find keys, solve directional locks, and demonstrate their knowledge of planets as they navigate through obstacles and challenges. The escape room will be done using deck.toys shared through the instructor's screen. As they progress through the mission, students will encounter various puzzles and obstacles that they will need to solve in order to help the aliens. To successfully complete the mission, students must work together, communicate effectively, and use their critical thinking skills. Along the way, they will also learn about different planets and celestial bodies, which will help them in their quest to help the aliens find their way home. This class is an excellent way for kids to have fun while exploring their space knowledge. So, put on your space helmets and get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure!

Hello!
I taught art in traditional public schools for 6 years in Texas and started teaching on Outschool in 2021.
I would say my specialty here on outschool is escape rooms.
I love teaching my passions and believe in teaching the whole child. That is why I love throwing in other tidbits of knowledge while working on a project. It also means if you signed up for an escape room with me, it might be under the category of "math" but I can guarantee you will be challenged at a lot more than just math. I like to challenge students to think outside of the box and come up with unique solutions to creative problems.
I also have taught art classes through Michaels Arts and Crafts stores. My favorite moment was when a young lady told me they had a closer store to them, but they drove further to me because, with me, she "actually learned stuff".
Fun and Personal: I love to create and have fun. In my free time, I love to play both board and video games. I am a huge Disney nerd, and represent the Hufflepuff house with pride. I have a sweet seven-year-old daughter and three cats at home.
Currently my personal life is jam packed so I am currently only offering self paced classes.
