Description
Class Experience
Students will review skills from their previous school year involving fractions.
Students will be given 5-10 problems to complete and bring to next class to practice the skill that was taught. Each lesson will build on each other so completing the problems to be ready for the new skill is essential.
Personal White board and markers- this will save on paper use during game play Graph paper or Notebook paper- graph paper can be used to substitute most hands on materials Pencils Crayons or colored pencils hands on material examples- cereal (Cheerios, Fruit Loops), pennies, dimes, dollar bills, Lego bricks(1,10,100), other materials will be listed in classroom as needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed informally through the homework and the class discussions.
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
