In this 10-week class, students will practice the Spanish alphabet including phonic lessons to encourage and start Spanish reading while using familiar Spanish vocabulary for familiar themes and mathametics.

Beginner Level
Although Hello Spanish: Vocabulary, Alphabet, Reading, and Math! Beginner Level Part 1 is NOT required, it is highly encouraged so that students can develop their Spanish vocabulary and have a better grasp of the Spanish alphabet. If a learner already has some basic Spanish vocabulary, this is the perfect class for them. Learners will use themed vocabulary in conversation. Learners will use Spanish vocabulary to ask and answer questions and begin to learn to read in Spanish by practicing Spanish letters and sounds.

Homework Offered
Students will be encouraged to complete a weekly interactive activity using Nearpod. Recordings will be encouraged to practice Spanish pronuciation. The teacher will respond with a video recording of each recording submitted by the students.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
