Hello Spanish: Vocabulary, Alphabet, Reading, and Math! Beginner Level Part 2
In this 10-week class, students will practice the Spanish alphabet including phonic lessons to encourage and start Spanish reading while using familiar Spanish vocabulary for familiar themes and mathametics.

1 hour per week. Students will be encouraged to complete a weekly interactive activity using Nearpod. Recordings will be encouraged to practice Spanish pronuciation. The teacher will respond with a video recording of each recording submitted by the students.Grading
Assessment is done during class to correct mispronunciation and understanding of the skills and vocabulary. Lesson reviews are sent after class with feedback to strengthen skills being learned.Class Experience

Beginner Level Part 1 is NOT required, it is highly encouraged so that students can develop their Spanish vocabulary and have a better grasp of the Spanish alphabet. If a learner already has some basic Spanish vocabulary, this is the perfect class for them. Learners will use themed vocabulary in conversation. Learners will practice Spanish pronunciation and will use vocabulary in context through meaningful conversations. Every week students will focus on a combination of syllables which will allow them to start forming words and reading in Spanish. A book will be read in class, as time permits, to practice Spanish reading and vocabulary learning. While learning Spanish vocabulary and letters, students will also be practicing their listening and comprehension skills. The themes for the classes in the syllabus that comes with this class. Let's have fun while practicing our Spanish vocabulary through conversation and learning to read en español! I can't wait to see learners in my classroom and seeing their growth in their Spanish fluency.

Learners will use Spanish greeting and farewell vocabulary in conversation. Students will introduce themselves in Spanish and share a set of Spanish words that they know or are familiar with. Lesson 2:
Matemáticas y sílabas de la semana (syllables of the week)
Learners use Spanish number words in conversation and mathematical expressions. Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish syllables. Learners will form words with these syllables and read them in isolation and sentences. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Mi casa, matemáticas y sílabas de la semana (syllables of the week)
Learners will use house-themed vocabulary in conversation and talk about their favorite space in their house. Learners will use Spanish number words in mathematical expressions while using the house-themed vocabulary. Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish syllables. Learners will form words with these syllables and read them in isolation and sentences. Learners will use kitchen-themed vocabulary in conversation and talk about their favorite meal to eat at home. Learners will use Spanish number words in mathematical expressions while using the kitchen-themed vocabulary. Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish syllables. Learners will form words with these syllables and read them in isolation and sentences.
