Week 1
Lesson 1
Saludos, despedidas y el alfabeto
Learners will use Spanish greeting and farewell vocabulary in conversation. They will practice introducing oneself to others in Spanish.  Students will be introduced to the Spanish alphabet. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Números y letras de la semana (letters of the week)
Learners will use Spanish number words (1-50) in conversation and mathematical expressions. Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish letters. Learners will form words with these letters and read them in isolation and sentences. Students will read the book of the week. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Colores y letras de la semana (letters of the week)
Learners will use Spanish number words (51-100) in conversation and mathematical expressions and colors. Students will talk about their favorite colors in a very natural way to apply their Spanish skills. They will learn 2-3 Spanish letters. Learners will form words with these letters and read them in isolation and sentences. Students will read the book of the week. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Útiles escolares y letras de la semana (letters of the week)
Learners will use Spanish school supplies words in conversation and talk about how they use them in class.   Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish letters. Learners will form words with these letters and read them in isolation and sentences. Learners will continue to use previously learned vocabulary in this lesson. Students will read the book of the week. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Nuestro cuerpo y letras de la semana (letters of the week)
Learners will use Spanish words for body parts through conversation. Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish letters. Learners will form words with these letters and read them in isolation and sentences. Learners will continue to use previously learned vocabulary in this lesson. Students will read the book of the week. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Lesson 6
Yo puedo y letras de la semana (letters of the week)
Learners will use Spanish action words in conversation as we talk about daily tasks.   Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish letters. Learners will form words with these letters and read them in isolation and sentences. Learners will continue to use previously learned vocabulary in this lesson. Students will read the book of the week. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Sentimientos y letras de la semana (letters of the week)
Learners will use Spanish words and phrases about feelings that we experience daily through conversation. Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish letters. Learners will form words with these letters and read them in isolation and in sentences. Previously learned vocabulary will continue to be applied in this lesson. Students will read the book of the week. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
 Week 8

Días de la semana y letras de la semana (letters of the week)
Learners will use the Spanish days of the week in conversation. Students will talk about their weekly activities and their favorite day of the week. Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish letters. Learners will form words with these letters and read them in isolation and sentences. Previously learned vocabulary will continue to be used. Students will read the book of the week. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Meses del año y letras de la semana (letters of the week)
Learners will use months of the year in conversation as we talk about things we typically do during each month of the year. Learners will learn 2-3 Spanish letters. Learners will form words with these letters and read them in isolation and in sentences. Students will read the book of the week. Conversation and participation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 
 Week 10
Lesson 10
Review
Learners will review all concepts learned throughout the course. They will read a book of choice to demonstrate their Spanish skills in letter recognition, pronunciation, and comprehension. Learners will have the opportunity to engage in Spanish conversation in a fun, educational way!
