Class Experience

Did you know that your skin is the largest detox organ of your body? As the largest detox organ it has a HUGE amount of work in both absorbing the good and ridding the bad from the body.
 What you choose to eat and the products you use on your skin have a huge impact not only on your body, but also your skin's health.  Think glowing skin or red and inflamed. This is how your skin responds. 
In this class students will learn how to achieve clear skin naturally through proper diet and skin care.
Each week we will focus on a certain topic.
Weekly Schedule:
Day I: Basic Anatomy of The Skin
Day 2: Worst Foods For Your Skin
Day 3: Best Foods For Your Skin
Day 4:  Skin Routine For Your Type of Skin
I try to keep teaching as fun and creative as possible. I will be using a variety of engaging, short videos and pictures. We will be doing a flower food coloring experiment and also making a sugar scrub in class. At the end of each class I allow time for Q&A. I strongly encourage students to participate and share any questions or comments they may have.

I am passionate about nutrition! As a nutritionist I believe that the first and most important step in achieving healthy skin is by turning the attention to your diet. What we put in our bodies will ultimately have a positive or negative effect on the look, feel and function of our skin. Focusing on healthy skin means more clean foods and less toxins. 
Remember! Our outer appearance is often a reflection of our inner health!
