Description

Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will learn facts about a lovable critter, the hedgehog!  We will talk about the characteristics, habitat and fun facts of this animal.  Then we will create a fun picture using pre-gathered leaves to create a hedgehog!  

All students will have a chance to share what they like about hedgehogs.  Facts will be given through direct instruction and the art will be guided.  

Parents, please assist your child in picking leaves before class to ensure nothing...

Students will learn fun facts about hedgehogs and will create a fun fall craft.

Leaves to create the body of the hedgehog
A piece of paper
School glue
Black or brown marker
Googly eye or button for the eye (optional)

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
