US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this 1- time Valentine's Day themed craft class, learners will create a Heart Buddy craft with fun, wiggly arms and legs! We will use shapes as our main pieces and learners will practice shapes, cutting, gluing, folding and following directions. After they have cut and completed assembling their Heart Buddy, they get to decorate it any way they would like! The result: An adorable Valentine's Day keepsake craft made through lots of fun and learning! Learners will be able to see visuals...
Children will work on fine motor skills like cutting, folding and coloring, as well as shapes, creativity and following directions in the fun Valentine's Day craft class.
Hello! I am a certified and licensed teacher in preschool- elementary. I have 15+ years of experience teaching and work in preschool, PreK and early elementary classrooms. I have years of experience creating playful ways for early learners to engage in learning!
Learners will need: The Heart Buddy template provided by me in the classroom. Glue Child safe Scissors Crayons or Markers
This class requires the use of scissors to cut out some of the craft pieces during class. I recommend kid sized, made for kids (less sharp) scissors for this. If your child needs supervision while cutting safely, please plan to be present or near during parts of this class.
