Description

Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding a healthy lifestyle and how the choices they make can impact their own health and well-being.
Students will have lessons about healthy exercises, breathing, mindfulness, meditation, emotions, and incorporating mindfulness into their every day lives. Students will learn how to express what they feel by creating a journal. 
I am a health and wellness enthusiast.. I love keeping fit, eating healthy, and being creative. Sharing my passions with children brings me great joy. I have taught Pilates to children and have been exercising with yoga, strength training , cardio training and Pilates for many years. I have attended fitness classes and have been guided by a personal trainer to learn the proper ways to move and train.  I have extensive experience in the field of eating healthy and keeping fit.
Students are encouraged to be mindful of their day to day choices and to strive toward a healthy lifestyle. 
Students will need a blender to make the smoothies. Blenders have sharp blades and students may need assistance using the blender to avoid injury. Students will need a cup or glass to pour smoothie into. Students will need the following:
Week One:
1 ripe banana 
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/4 cup water or juice

Week Two:
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/4 cup water or juice

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

Week Four:
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup mixed frozen raspberries, blackberries, blueberries
1/2 cup yogurt
1/4 cup water or juice

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
  • Youtube
  • Nearpod
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Adult assistance for the smoothie making is requested. Blenders contain sharp blades. To avoid injury I request assistance.
