Class Experience

Learn how to integrate activities that can help you relax into your school day so that learning is easier. 
You will learn how to identify when you need a break and what kinds of activities are helpful to your work and focus. 
Learn tools that support healthy learning habits while having fun! 
Activities include:
The Scribble Exercise, (for hand and wrist tension when writing)
The Clap and Cover: (for tired eyes or ears)
Fine Motor Activities: Finger games, strengthening activities 
Form Drawing Exercises, (rhythmical drawings that encourage movement, regulate breathing and assist handwriting)
The Clap and Count: a movement activity that incorporates different parts of the brain and allows the student to get the wiggles out, and balancing exercises for posture and vestibular support. 
This class is appropriate for any student, including those with sensory motor and/or learning challenges. Aurore completed a three-year certificate in Remedial Education in addition to her M.S. in Waldorf Education and has training in manual therapy, The Davis Method and H.A.N.D.L.E.  
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
The activities in this class come from the Waldorf curriculum and The Extra Lesson activities, developed by Audrey McAllen.
