In this lesson I will be teaching the students all about healthy eating and how they can make small changes to their diet to eat more healthily. I will also talk about junk food and fast food and why they are bad for your health. I will also give my students tips and tricks on how to swap an unhealthy snack to a healthy one. I will have a slideshow throughout the class so my students can stay engaged and focused. There will be time for student discussion as I enjoy seeing students communicate...
Students will learn what is healthy eating and why it's important to eat more healthy food than junk food.
When I used to work in mainstream school, I taught children about healthy eating and how to avoid junk food and eat more healthily.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Content of video is appropriate and is just a quiz on what things are healthy and what food is bad for your health eg hamburgers, French fries, donuts.
