This carrot cake smoothie includes a high dose of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins.... And it's delicious! The goals of this one-time smoothie making class are for students to: learn about new ingredient combinations, master new cooking techniques, gain independence in the kitchen, socialize with new friends. **ARIANA PEARSON** Ariana is an eclectic Spanish and ESL teacher from Indianapolis, Indiana who now calls Costa Rica, "home." After studying, working, and living abroad in Peru and Costa Rica, Ariana considers herself to be truly bilingual and bicultural. Ariana holds a Bachelor's degree from IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis), along with a TESOL teaching certification. She enjoys teaching online and her experiences have helped her gain a deeper understanding of pedagogy and language acquisition in the virtual learning environment. Ariana's teaching philosophy centers around the importance of creating a relaxing, engaging learning environment that maximizes student language output.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance recommended because students will be using blenders.
